About Us
"Every Child Matters Every Day"
Leflore Christian School envisions a future where every student thrives—regardless of individual abilities—within a supportive and nurturing learning environment. We believe in a collaborative partnership among educators, families, and students to cultivate academic achievement, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
Our commitment to small class sizes fosters meaningful relationships, promotes social-emotional growth, and builds a strong sense of belonging within both our school and the broader community.
Grounded in a Biblical worldview, we integrate faith-based teaching to help students discover God’s purpose for their lives. Through this foundation, students are equipped to make a positive impact in their communities and to live in a way that glorifies Him.

A Note from
our Head of School

Welcome to Leflore Christian School, where faith and individualized education come together to help every student thrive.
At LCS, we believe each child is uniquely created by God with a purpose. Our mission is to provide a Christ-centered education for K–12th grade students, including those with learning differences—such as dyslexia, ADHD, and other challenges—in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Rooted in Biblical values, we recognize the potential in every learner. Our dedicated team uses evidence-based strategies to build confidence, develop skills, and help students grow—academically, spiritually, and personally.
We walk alongside families in guiding students to discover their strengths and live out their God-given calling. Here, learning differences are not seen as obstacles, but as part of the unique way each child reflects God’s design.
We invite you to learn more about our community and see how LCS can be a place of growth, hope, and purpose for your child.
In Christ,
Tim Burton
Head of School
